Our upcoming program is very timely and it is especially pertinent that CMU students will participate. It would be interesting to note just how much time is lost to personal on-line contact in the workplace daily. I've taken regular respites from electronics such as 10 day retreats. It is amazing to realize just how much of our daily attention is focused on FB, email, etc. It can be another form of an addiction. Interesting side note, the American Psychological Association has recently recommended that citizens pay less attention to politics to relieve their stress levels.

I like social media. It keeps me in touch. It's not intrusive; I can look at it when I want. I think when I write.
